Summer Term

The Advanced Engineering Communication Course is designed to enhance your ability to effectively communicate in these different contexts by introducing you to effective written, oral, and visual communication skills. Assignments/evaluations will make use of the graduate student’s research data to translate course material into practical use.

This course provides an in-depth study of process safety, emphasizing on topics which enables engineers to analyze and solve safety related problems in industry, design safety integrated systems, specifically chemical industries.

This course is intended to provide graduate students with advanced knowledge on the design of fluidized bed reactors and particulate operations.

This course intends to prepare graduate students with advanced knowledge and concepts on industrial multiphase reactor systems analysis, design and modeling. Current and potential applications of these reactor systems in chemical, biochemical, clean and renewable fuels and environmental processes will be discussed.

Project-based MEng students must enroll in CBE 9982 in consecutive years starting during their 2nd term.
