The Undergraduate Services Office strives to deliver services and support to all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering. They are here to assist in all matters of student life and will help with any concerns students may have. Western Engineering's undergraduate program consists of a Common First Year, followed by three years of study devoted to one of Western Engineering's nine undergraduate engineering programs. (more)
Western Engineering Career Services offers two types of co-op programs for undergraduate students: Summer Engineering Co-op (SECOP) - a 4 month May to August work term; and Internship - a 12 to 16 month placement for students in their second last year of study.
This program is offered to current third-year Western Engineering students. In order to be accepted into the Accelerated MESc program, applicants must have an average grade of 80% or above (from their 2nd and 3rd years). The Accelerated MESc allows students to receive a MESc within 1 year of receiving their BESc. (more)
In addition to our strong design-based core engineering programs, Western Engineering also offers two types of Dual Degrees: Concurrent degrees and Combined Degrees. These degrees prepare students to cross traditional borders in their future careers, allowing them to graduate with two degrees in less time than it would take to complete each one independently.
