Welcome to Dr. Zheng Research Group
The Zheng Research Group focuses on the development of new catalysts and novel chemical processes for clean and alternative energy applications. Current research includes development of novel intensified chemical processes for multiphase reactions such as hydrotreating and deoxygenation. Furthermore, the group performs detailed studies on heterogeneous catalysts for the conversion of C1 and oxygenate molecules to fuels and chemicals while investigating the role of integrated plasma and solar processes in CO2 utilization. The Zheng Research Group provides a coalescing and learning experience for students and post-doctoral fellows.
