The Sun Microsystems matching grant program is back

This is a great program that supports research and teaching and all money raised through this program will be put towards our fundraising goal.

Customers who purchase SunSpectrum Instant Upgrade coverage on their selected hardware, may also be eligible for an academic discount on these service parts. SunSpectrum Instant Upgrade pricing is applicable to both the purchased hardware and the matching free hardware.

The matching grant period is from February 25 - May 30, 2005; however, supplies are limited and grants will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Last year, Western purchased about $210,000 through this program. This year, only one researcher has used this program, which means this is the perfect opportunity for our Faculty to participate.
