Women
				In Engineering Year-End Dinner
				Wednesday, March 23
			Attendance was
record-breaking at this year's Women In Engineering dinner.
Over 90 faculty, staff, students and alumni attended the dinner at
			the Hilton Hotel, London.
			Attendees enjoyed a
delicious dinner, silent auction and raffles, a guest speaker from
GM and a lot of laughter and networking.
			Kathryn
			Stoyle,
a Vehicle Assembly Engineer, working for GM at CAMI, was invited to
speak to the group about her experiences as a female engineer in the
automotive industry.  As a recent grad from MacMaster
University, Kathryn was able to provide the group, consisting mostly
of Western Engineering students, with an idea of what to expect when
joining the work world.  She shared some of her success stories, challenging experiences and advice for surviving
			in a male dominated environment.
			A total of
			$300 was
raised through the silent auction and raffle tables.  All funds
will go towards Women In Engineering activities for the coming year.
