Sarah Creber wins Consulting Engineers of Ontario Louanne Smrke Essay Competition

Sarah Creber, a fourth-year Western Chemical Engineering student and recipient of the Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO) Scholarship, recently received another nod from CEO as winner of the CEO Louanne Smrke Essay Competition.

Applicants from the 13 engineering schools across Ontario were required to submit a 1,000 word essay on "Engineers versus Other Professionals - Their Comparative Value to Society". Creber’s winning essay has awarded her the Louanne Smrke Award and a cash prize.

Creber will be recognized at the Ontario Consulting Engineering Awards Banquet on May 31, 2007 at the Waterloo Inn & Conference Centre in Waterloo, Ontario.
