Dr. Lo to be recognized by PEO

Dr. K.Y. Lo, Director Geotechnical Research Centre, Professor Emeritus will be an engineering medal recipient for the category "Research and Development" at the 2006 Ontario Professional Engineers Awards.

The 59th Annual Ontario Professional Engineers Awards will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at The CARLU in downtown Toronto.

The Professional Engineers Awards Program was created in 1947. The Program recognizes excellence across a broad range of engineering endeavors including innovation, professional leadership and entrepreneurship. It also showcases some of the ways Ontario engineers contribute to the economy and improve our quality of life.
