Electrical and Computer Engineering student advances in IEEE Canada TELUS Innovation Award Competition
From the 13 projects submitted for this year’s IEEE Canada TELUS Innovation Award Competition, 9 have been selected by a panel of judges from across Canada to make their final presentations in Edmonton September 14, 2007. Included in the top 9 is Western Engineering ECE416 Student (2006-2007), Marc Goulet.
Goulet will compete in Edmonton with his project, Portable Force Monitoring System for Field-Testing Rock-Climbing Equipment. Top prize is a $10,000 cash honorarium and a certificate.
