Nuclear Power Safer

Jin Jiang, professor
in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering,
plans to bring Canada’s nuclear power industry
into the 21st Century, after being awarded $2 million over the next
five years by Science and Engineering Research Canada (more commonly
known as NSERC) and the University Network of Excellence in Nuclear
Engineering (UNENE) for his leading research.

Wins 60m Hurdles
Congratulations to pentathlete Preet Atwal,
ECE grad student, who won the 60m hurdles (8.88) at the Western
Mustang Track and Field Season Opener. Atwal also threw a personal
best in the shot put (12.13m).

exams as scheduled. It is the student's responsibility to follow the
Rules & Regulations.
Please note - Minor illnesses and travel plans are not grounds for a
special exam. If you have any questions regarding the
administration of final exams, please visit the Undergraduate
