WE student Melissa Fabian wins first prize in CBE 415

Ms. Melissa Fabian, a 4th year undergraduate student in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, was awarded the first prize of $100.00 for her research project presentation in CBE 415.

The title of her presentation was "Effect of Temperature on Growth Kinetics of Bacillus thuringiensis var israelensis and Bioinsecticide production".

This research project is supported by NSERC and supervised by Dr. Argyrios Margaritis, Professor of Biochemical Engineering.

Congratulations to Melissa for her first place finish.
