United Way Campaign is underway

Congratulations to the following prize winners in the United Way Early-Bird Draw for those in Engineering who have returned pledge envelopes to date: Tom Edey, Steve Farquhar, Soheil Gholemreza-Kashi, Bill Greason, Steve Hewlette, Xinhong Huang, Andrea Hufford, Angela Kedgley, Dave Morrish, Doug Phillips, Anand Prakash, Slobodan Simonovic, Anand Singh and Ann Tsirgielis. Thanks to the Faculty of Engineering and Double Q Printing and Graphics for providing the prizes.

The UES is holding a "UES United Way Sudoku Challenge" for students, faculty and staff in SEB 1059 on Thursday November 22nd from 12:30 pm (sharp, please) to 1:20 pm. Pay a toonie and see how you fare with two challenge puzzles.

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest solution, the fastest solution by a faculty or staff member and the fastest solution by a student for each puzzle. All participants can submit completed puzzles, either at the end of the event or later that day to the UES office, and a prize will be awarded for a submission drawn from the correct entries submitted.
