Orientation Week 2007

Western’s Undergraduate Engineering Society welcomed the incoming class of 2007 with a day full of events during Faculty Day 2007.

Head Soph, Ashley McManus, led the Faculty Day speeches which included welcome messages from Western Engineering's Dean , Associate Dean (Academic), and UES, President.

First-year students also toured the engineering buildings and labs, the Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel Laboratory and the UES room. Female students enjoyed lunch provided by Women In Engineering while the male students feasted at the Shinerama BBQ. Everyone came together again in the afternoon to visit student group displays and presentations before ending the day at Fleetway for bowling and good times.
