2009 Faculty and Staff Awards Banquet

Well deserving Western Engineering staff and faculty were honoured for their hard work and dedication at the 2009 Western Engineering Awards Celebration.
Over 100 faculty, staff, retirees and guests filled the Great Hall on May 6 to celebrate faculty-wide successes and applaud the four
Engineering awards recipients, including:
- The Sharon A. Ling Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement by a Staff Member (awarded to Barry Kay)
- The Western Engineering Award of Recognition (awarded to Frederick Keenan)
- The R. Mohan Mathur Award for Excellence in Teaching (awarded to Ralph Buchal)
- The Engineering Prize for Achievement in Research (awarded to Jin Jiang)
