Process

Admission to the graduate BME Program is a three-part process:

  • The student completes a formal application and all documentation.
  • The Program reviews the application and determines whether the student is academically acceptable for entry. Core Faculty are provided with relevant information about students and have access to application files.
  • If a supervisor accepts a student and provides the Program with a letter outlining financial support arrangements, the application is signed and forwarded to the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) for a formal decision regarding admission. SGPS then determines whether or not the student merits minimum standards for admission to the University, and considers any program request for funding. Successful applicants are then sent an offer of admission by SGPS.
