Killdeer Rescue on Western's Green Roof!
Between April 10-18 a male and female Killdeer decided to call our green roof home. Eggs were found on April 18 and finally hatched on May 11 at which time the Western biology department was called to help remove the family to a more suitable location on the ground. During the incubation phase the mother and father Killdeer provided plenty of company for us on the roof.
