Development of engineered carbon-based nanocomposites, material characterization, environmental remediation, batch- and column- adsorption studies, adsorption modeling, material recyclability and reuse, post-recovery of pollutants and benefits
Project:
Evaluating the performance of different road salts, in terms of their environmental impact and ice-melting performance
Personal Background:
Hasara graduated from Mississippi State University in USA, obtaining a doctorate in 2021. Her Ph.D. research component was based on Environmental Engineering in the area of water treatment. She is currently a postdoctoral associate in RESTORE group under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Power. Before joining the RESTORE group, she was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Arkansas in USA.
