Personal Background:

Aref joined the RESTORE group as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Clare Robinson in September 2023. Prior to joining RESTORE, Aref had worked as a research assistant at the University of Tarbiat Modares in Tehran, Iran. His previous academic focus was on 'Contaminant source characterization in a coastal aquifer influenced by tidal forces and density-driven flow'.
