Western Engineering helped me acquire my first professional job in the Instrumentation and Controls engineering field. Although I studied Mechatronics, my well rounded education allowed me to branch out outside of my discipline and try something new.

 

The extra curricular portion of my degree taught me how important networking is and how a simple conversation with a stranger on a VIA train to Toronto can land you a full time engineering job in the big city. It's all about who you know and Western Engineering has given me an entire community of alumni to network with.
