Global Undergraduate Awards

The 2021-22 ECE Capstone Project on “Efficient Charging System for Hyperloop Application” performed by four bright and dedicated students under the supervision of Professor Rajiv Varma has been selected as the Global Winner in the Engineering Category for the Global Undergraduate Awards! 

The Global Undergraduate Awards is a competition that accepts undergraduate essay submissions from across the globe. This year, over 2,800 entries were submitted and anonymously scored by expert judges to select the highest performing work in 25 subjects.

The winning team have made efforts to secure funding for all of them to travel to the Conference in Ireland and have also been given the opportunity to present their Project at the conference in front of students and academics from around the world.

These outstanding students have indeed made Western ECE very proud!
