  • Formula SAE Racing team gets spot on Discovery Channel's Daily Planet
    Western's Formula SAE team was featured prominently in an episode of Daily Planet in a segment called "Speedy Minis" in October. The footage was from a university competition that took place in September. Watch the clip online. (look for the clip labeled "speedy minis")

  • Engineering student named as one of Canada's four Goldman-Sachs Global Leaders for 2007
    Ryan Katchky (Engineering/Medicine) was one of three Western students to be named to the award. To find out what the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program is about, visit the Institute of International Education website.
