Thank you for your interest in the Graduate Research Program in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the Western University. The Department offers two thesis-based research programs: Masters of Engineering Science (MESc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) .

The thesis-based programs provide an opportunity for students to conduct independent, innovative fundamental and/or applied research employing the latest concepts in our experimental and/or computational research facilities under the supervision of a faculty member.
