Design Day demonstrates design abilities of graduating Western Engineering students; it is the highlight of the fourth year course “Mechanical Engineering Design Project” MME 4499.

Student design teams present overview of their projects that started back in Fall semester with just a problem statement. Now, seven months later, design teams have solved their design problem.

Teams present to judges and guests working prototypes supported by complete manufacturing documentation, cost analysis and summary of performed design iterations.

Please join us on Friday, March 28th, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Great Hall in Somerville House to see the design teams and their prototypes.
