Painting for World Vision

During the month of October, the Undergraduate Services Office offered a “Painting for World Vision” event in their office. Close to 50 people donated their Toonies and creative painting skills to produce a painting in support of World Vision. Ratna Varma, the daughter of Dr. Varma from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and her friends, also stopped by Western Engineering to paint for those who wanted to make a donation, but did not want to paint themselves.

In the end, the Undergraduate Services Office has a new masterpiece for their walls and $110.00 was raised for World Vision. This was enough money to purchase warm clothes for 50 families ($70.00) and a piglet ($40.00).
