Andre Schardong Email
Dr. Schardong completed his Ph.D. studies at University
of Sao Paulo - USP, Sao Paulo, Brazil in the winter of 2011 where he
developed multiple objective evolutionary optimization algorithms applied to
complex multi-reservoirs systems. He completed his master in 2006 in Water
Resources Management and the Bachelor degree in 2002 also from University of
Sao Paulo. Dr. Schardong also has extensive consulting experience in water
resources engineering for companies and cities in
Brazil and Europe.
His research expertise and interests are computational and multi-disciplinary spanning the fields of water resource manager. Some of the research topics include the development of decision support systems, single and multi-objective evolutionary optimization algorithms applied to complex multi- reservoir systems and water resource problems and hydrological models, impacts and adaptation on water availability and extreme events due to climate change and water quality issues.
