Registration

The focus is on graduate student presentations involving current research. The goal is to provide a friendly environment that provides students with high quality feedback and networking while providing attendees with insight into the breadth of research occurring across the region.

The symposium is also open to undergraduate researchers as well. We encourage many to present, even if they are in early stage of research, as we are interested in what they are doing. However, presenting is not a requirement for any attendee.

Registrants from industry, government agencies, and NGOs are also welcome.

The same registration process should be used by all attendees (regardless of those presenting or not):

    1. Complete and submit by email the registration form by October 6, 2019:

    2. If you are a research student and want to present, please specify your preference for an oral and/or poster presentation on the registration form.

    3. Pay the registration fee - 

      - For non-RENEW and non-Western students, pay by credit card click here (ensure you click SyNRGS - $100).

      - For RENEW students from any university, ensure to identify yourself and your supervisor; do not pay as billing will be internal.

      - For non-RENEW Western students, ensure to identify yourself and your supervisor; do not pay as billing will be internal.
