Events
As part of our mission to connect the students of the Univeristy of Western Ontario and the water industry we host serveral events throughout the year. Events such as trivia give students a short break from usual academic stress while learning about the environmental and water industry. Our more professional events such as our annual Career Showcase provide students with the opportunity to network with professionals from branches such as government, academia and industry. These types of events are also great at providing students with career advice.
While the 2020-2021 academic school year has been entirely online, thus limiting our events to being online, we hope that soon we will also be able to bring back other events such as wastewater treatment tours that we have organized in the past.
We also provide opportunities for members to give us feedback on our events and let us know what other types of events they would like to see. We also like to know which companies or industry professionals they would like to see at networking events. If you do have feedback, please reach out to us through our email or various social media platforms throughout the year.
