Your organization is warmly welcomed to join CIBI as a valued member and become part of Canada's leaders focusing on the conversion of Canada's abundant bioresources into various high-value industrial bioproducts to address climate change and promote the bio-/circular-economy to address Canada’s goal to achieve net-zero carbon emission while developing the emerging bio-economy.
Values for being an industry member:
(1) Access to the interdisciplinary clusters of expertise and research facilities to meet the industry needs (partnership to accelerate commercialization of innovation);
(2) Introducing academic expertise and funding opportunities to develop new products and services;
(3) Opportunities of licensing IPs that have been created and will be generated by the consortium;
(4) Access to a highly qualified talent pool of students and professionals;
(5) Access to educational programs that can be tailored to industry needs (e.g., part-time Ph.D. programs).
