Greg Yantz appointed Director, Operations and Strategy

Greg-Yantz-appointment-Thumbnail.jpgThe Faculty of Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Yantz as the new Director of Operations and Strategy, effective October 7, 2024. With over twenty years of experience in postsecondary education, Yantz brings a w­ealth of knowledge and a people-centred approach to this new role.

In Yantz’s previous roles he has been instrumental in achieving goals in areas of academic quality assurance, strategic planning, student services, human resources, and budgets. Most recently, he served as the Dean, Academic Quality and Strategic Integration at Fanshawe College. 

Yantz’s other roles at Fanshawe included serving as the Director of the Centre for Academic Excellence and as the Associate Dean of the Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus.  His roles prior to Fanshawe included work at Western University as Director of Administration for the Don Wright Faculty of Music, Director of MBA Recruiting and Admissions for the Ivey Business School, and Director of Ivey Publishing. 

Yantz holds a Master of Philosophy (Politics) and a Master of Arts (Politics) from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Additionally, he has completed a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and The Ivey Leadership Program.
