Water and Wastewater Treatment
Water and Wastewater research focuses on advancing methods and technologies to ensure the availability of clean, safe water and sustainable wastewater management. This field encompasses a range of studies from water quality monitoring and pollutant detection to developing new filtration, treatment, and recycling processes. Researchers work on understanding and mitigating environmental contaminants, optimizing resource recovery, and improving infrastructure resilience. Addressing challenges like population growth, climate change, and aging water systems, Water and Wastewater research plays a crucial role in protecting public health, ecosystems, and promoting sustainable urban and rural development worldwide.
