Engineering Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Research

Yang Zhao, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering is the 2023 recipient of the Engineering Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Research. 
Research in the academic setting is one of the defining hallmarks of the University. The Faculty of Engineering has many faculty members with outstanding international reputations for their contributions in research. Often these contributions are not fully appreciated outside of the boundaries of the discipline. The Engineering Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Research will provide a way for members of the Engineering community to appreciate and celebrate research achievement of their most distinguished junior faculty members.
