Program Deliverables
Engineering Career Services will be in contact with you while you are on a Long Term Co-op, to keep you informed of important dates, deadlines, and new developments in Western Engineering. Please make sure to check your Western e-mail account regularly.
When a co-op is secured, students will be granted access to the co-op OWL site where all documents are to be accessed and submitted.
Co-op Deliverables:
As part of the Summer Co-op Program Students are responsible for the completion of the following co-op deliverables:
- Contact Form - Complete during the first two weeks of work.
- Placement Check-In Form - To be completed approximately three months after the start of the work term.
- Preliminary Evaluation - To be completed four months after the start of the work term by your Supervisor.
- Final Evaluation - To be completed just prior to completion of the work term by your Supervisor, must be submited by August 15th at the lastest prior to returning to school.
- Faculty Coordinated Employer Site Visit. - Our Employer Specialsit team will be in cotnact with you over email to arrage this while on co-op.
- Long Term Report - Due August 1st of the year when co-op is scheduled to end prior to returning to school.
Instructions on how to submit and upload all co-op deliverables via OWL will be sent to the student’s university email.
Failure to complete the program deliverables will result in the student receiving a (“FAI”) in the Co-op program.
