A new interdisciplinary training program, open to undergraduate and graduate students, aims to address global health challenges. Powered by a $1.65-million grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), this new program will train students not only to be global change makers, but also to ensure their product and service designs are deployed into the communities who need them.

Engineering Health Equity (EHE) is a new interdisciplinary program dedicated to training the next generation of pioneers in frugal biomedical innovation. The EHE Program will include hands on project work to develop frugal biomedical innovations, mentorship and communities of practice, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving. This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

You do not have to be studying Engineering to participate. Undergraduate and graduate students from a diverse range of disciplines are encouraged to apply.
EHE provides a unique opportunity for you to be part of a program that will teach you how to use engineering, science and business skills to solve complex health problems.
