Area of Research: Imaging

Primary Research: Her main research areas are virtual reality as an educational tool, both for anatomy and for surgical skills. She studies the effect of 2D vs 3D in neuroanatomy teaching for medical students and residents, as well as evaluation of surgical simulation tools. She is collaborating with CSTAR, Robarts and the Centre for Brain and Mind. On-going projects include 3D neuroendoscopy, virtual brain modeling, and scenario-based virtual training for neurosurgery.
