Locations

All event-relevant locations were highlighted on the campus map that can be downloaded from here. The only locations not shown on this map are WindEEE Research Institute  and Fraunhofer Project Center for Composites Research to which a shuttle bus will be offered as part of the technical tours to be organized in the afternoon of June 3, 2015. For more details about the technical tours, please click here. 

For participants arriving by car, the recommended parking lot to be used is Springett. Please refer to the annotated campus map for its location. Please note that parking access is by coin entry only and requires exact change. The summer rate from Monday to Friday is $6.00 (coin entry at the gate). Complimentary weekend parking is available from Friday at 5:00 pm until Monday morning at 7:00 am.

WesternU Mobile App

We encourage all interested participants to make use of the WesternU Mobile application that can be downloaded from here. The application is available for both Android and iOS platforms. 

Internet Access

In terms of onsite Internet access, all non-Western participants will be provided (via Registration Desk) with temporary access credentials to Western's wireless network called uwosecure-v2. More information about its general settings are available here. Alternatively, participants from Canadian institutions should also be able to login on the eduroam wireless network with credentials maintained by their home institution. More information about eduroam (including a detailed list of partner institutions) is available here.
