Just for Girls

Women continue to be vastly underrepresented in engineering. Although the number of women studying engineering at Western University continues to increase yearly, the percentage remains significantly below parity.

Our “Just for Girls” programs aim to inspire girls and young women and empower their participation in STEM. Our programs are led by instructors who serve as role models, mentors and allies.

We recognize the broadest definition of girls and women and welcome gender-diverse youth. This includes, but is not limited to, cis girls, trans girls, non-binary youth, gender non-conforming youth and gender queer youth.
