Camp Dates & Themes

Our mainstay programming is back again this year! Campers registered for these weeks will learn about different types of engineering through a variety of hands-on design projects. Activities will vary each year, but examples may include: building your own terrarium (grade SK-2), civil engineering earthquake challenge (grade 3-5) and building a prosthetic arm (grade 6-8). 

Coding camp is back and we are excited to share all of our fun tech devices! This theme is open to students in grades SK-8. Activity topics may include: Virtual Reality in Cospaces, Marty the Robot, as well as block coding and script coding in our advanced program. Coding activities are selected based on student grade, with basic coding introductions for the SK-2 group, intermediate block coding for the grade 3-5 group, and more advanced block coding in the grade 6-8 group. This theme sells out each year so we recommend signing up early for this camp! Note four-day camp weeks are $220.   

This year we are mixing art with science, technology, engineering and mathematics to make STEAM camp through creative and surprising programming that will highlight the imagination and beauty of STEM. This theme is offered to students in all grades. Be prepared to learn about the music of STEM, create your own STEM art and even program robots to create art.

NEW! Grade 3-5 STEAM is in collaboration with the Arts and Humanities department, bringing fun new activities, from visual arts and creative writing to classical and theatre studies! 

In partnership with the Institute for Space and Earth Exploration we are so excited to offer space camp to students in grade SK-8. Students will be taken on an adventure of a lifetime as they explore planet's atmospheres, how rockets work and programming rovers to do different tasks in space. We know that these camp weeks are going to be a BLAST! 

Do you have what it takes to take your engineering to the next level? E^2 Engineering and Entrepreneurship mixes hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with explorations in leadership and business. Be prepared to design, build, and pitch your own start-up! This camp is offered to students in grades 6-8.

Who Run The World? Girls! Thats right we are bringing back Just for Girls weeks for campers in grades 4-8. There will be a variety of camp themes that will be reserved for girls and will feature additional activities that highlight all the amazing accomplishments that female scientists and engineers have made. There are two different streams of Just for Girls camp with unique activities: Just for Girls Engineering (July 8-12 and July 29-Aug 2) and Just for Girls Space (July 22-26 and August 19-23).
